Shrub or small tree, recorded to 20 m.
Inflorescence and axillary, terminal or ramiflorous raceme or fascicle. Peduncles long. Flowers 2-4 mm diameter; petals absent, sepals yellow.
Capsules smooth, with minute scales and glands, 3-6 mm long and 6-9 mm wide. Seeds 2.
Features not available.
The short petioles (usually less than 2 cm long) and the relatively long peduncle of the female inflorescence distinguish M. dallachyana from other species with pinnately nerved leaves, short styles and smooth capsules.
