Family Description

A family of three genera and about 36 species in SW Pacific, Philippines to Australia and New Caledonia; two genera occur naturally in Australia.

Genera

Quintinia - A genus of about 25 species occurring from the Philippines to New Zealand; four species occur naturally in Australia. Mueller (1891); White & Francis (1926).

Sphenostemon - A genus of 10 species in Malesia, Australia and New Caledonia; one species occurs naturally in Australia. Pedley (1984); Smith (1957).
