Family Description

A family of two genera. One present in Australia. Fritsch et al (2008).

Genera

Symplocos - A genus of over 320 species, pantropic but absent from Africa; about 19 species occur naturally in Australia. Harden et al. (2014); Jessup (2011); Nooteboom (1975, 1977, 1981).
