Inflorescence about 6 x 10 cm, terminal on a peduncle about 70 cm long. Inflorescence subtended by bracts of which the lowest one is the largest and is pale towards the base and aristate at the apex. Flowers very small, densely packed, each subtended by a bract. Perianth about 3 mm long. Staminal filaments about 0.5 mm long, anthers about 1.5-2 mm long. Style about 1.5-2 mm long. Stigmas three, papillose.
