A family of 9-10 genera and about 200 species in Africa, Australia, North and South America; three genera occur naturally in Australia.

Genera

Bowenia - A genus of two species endemic to Australia. Hill (1998); Johnson (1959).

Lepidozamia - A genus of two species endemic to Australia. Johnson (1959).
