Reynolds, S.T. (1981) Austrobaileya 1(3): 477. Type: Western Australia: Mitchell Plateau, Lone Dingo (14 35 S, 125 45 E), Feb 1979, J.S. Beard 8484 (PERTH, holotypus).

Stem

A small tree seldom exceeding 30 cm dbh.

Leaves

Young twigs clothed in pale, +/- tortuous, hairs and longer straight hairs. Leaflet blades about 2-5.5 x 1.5-2.5 cm.

Flowers

Petals absent.

Fruit

Fruits about 1-1.2 x 1.8-2.3 cm, turgid, neither grooved nor lobed. Velvety hairy on the outer surface. Aril cupular, granular, red.

Seedlings

Features not available.

Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in WA and NT. Altitudinal range from sea level to 300 m. Grows in monsoon forest.
