Stem

Aerial stem-parasitic shrub. Epicortical runners present. The runners tend to be quite vigorous and cover long lengths of the stem and/or branches of the host plant.

Leaves

Leaf blades about 3-11.5 x 1.2-4.5 cm, strongly 3-veined. Petioles about 0.1-0.5 cm long.

Flowers

Flowers borne in 2-flowered, simple umbels. Rays of umbells about 2-6 mm long. Primary peduncle slender, about 3-8 mm long. Calyx entire or toothed, about 0.5-1 mm long. Corolla about 20-50 mm long. Anthers about 4-7 mm long, staminal filaments about 6 mm long. Ovary about 1.5 mm long. Style about 20-45 mm long.

Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in CYP. Altitudinal range not known but specimens have been collected between 500-600 m. Also found in New Guinea from sea level to 2150 m. Barlow (1992).
