Fruits ovoid to ellipsoid, about 7-11 x 5-9 mm diam. Cotyledons pinkish. Radicle quite small, much smaller than the cotyledons.

Distribution and Ecology
Occurs in CYP. Altitudinal range small, from near sea level to 150 m. Grows in well developed rain forest frequently found close to streams. Also occurs in the Aru Islands, Papua New Guinea and Irian Jaya.
