Lindera - A genus of about 100 species in Asia, Malesia, Australia and South, Central and North America; one species occurs naturally in Australia. Hyland (1989).
Litsea - A genus of about 400 species, pantropic but occurring at higher latitudes particularly in the northern hemisphere; 11 species occur naturally in Australia. Hyland (1989).
Neolitsea - A genus of about 80 species in Asia, Malesia and Australia; three species occur naturally in Australia. Hyland (1989).
Persea - A genus of about 150 species in Central and South America; one species has become naturalised in Australia. Kostermans (1957).
