Family Description
A family of carniverous plants consisting of 3 genera, Genlisea (21 spp), Pinguicula (80 spp.) and Utricularia (215 spp). Distributed worldwide from temperate to tropical areas and occupying aquatic, semi-terrestrial and epiphytic habitats.

Utricularia - A cosmopolitan genus of about 214 species.
