Family Description

A family of 3 genera and 210 species, in tropical Africa and Malesia to Australia and the Pacific Islands; one genus occurs naturally in Australia.

Genera

Drypetes - A genus of 200 species mainly in Africa, Asia, Malesia, Australia and the Pacific islands and poorly represented in the New World; four species occur naturally in Australia. Airy Shaw (1980); Forster (1997); Webster (1994).
