Inflorescence not exceeding the leaves, but usually longer than the petioles. Calyx lobes about 1.5-2 mm long, sericeous on the outer surface, glabrous or sparsely sericeous on the inner surface. Petals +/- obovoid, about 5 mm long, sericeous on the outer surface, glabrous on the inner. Ovary apex pubescent.
Cotyledons lanceolate, about 10-11 x 4-5 mm, apex mucronate or acute with a short mucro, base cuneate, triplinerved with the lateral veins forming an intramarginal vein. Oil dots numerous, visible with a lens. At the tenth leaf stage: leaf blade ovate, triplinerved, hairy on the upper and lower surfaces and somewhat glaucous on the lower surface. Seed germination time 28 days.
