Stem

A slender vine not exceeding a stem diameter of 2 cm.

Leaves

Twigs and petioles produce a milky exudate. Leaf blades about 5.5-11.5 x 2-5 cm, petioles about 1-2 cm long.

Flowers

Flowers about 13-14 mm diam. on pedicels about 12-14 mm long. Sepals lanceolate, about 1.4 mm long. Corolla lobes reflexed, lanceolate, about 7 x 1.5 mm. Staminal corona about 2 x 2 mm. fide Forster (1996).

Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in CYP. Altitudinal range in CYP from near sea level to 250 m. Grows in monsoon forest and vine thicket. Also occurs in Malesia.
