Winteraceae
Family Description

A family of nine genera and about 100 species in Madagascar, Malesia, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Central and South America; two genera occur naturally in Australia.

Genera

Bubbia - A genus of 30 species in the Moluccas, New Guinea, Australia, Lord Howe Island and New Caledonia; three species occur naturally on the Australian mainland. Vink (1977, 1983, 1985, 1988); Guymer (2007).

Tasmannia - A genus of about 50 species in Malesia, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and South America; seven species occur naturally in Australia. Guymer (2007); Sampson et al. (1988); Smith (1969), Vink (1970, 1988).
