Endosperm if present, ruminate or not

Endosperm is the starchy material which surrounds the embryo in some seeds.

The term ruminate appears to have more than one meaning; however, in this key it is used to describe the condition when parts of the testa or similar material intrude into the endosperm in definite lines or bands or as a globular mass.
