Central east Queensland Central eastern Queensland from Townsville to Rockhampton.
Cape York Peninsula The northern part of Cape York Peninsula, north of Princess Charlotte Bay.
North east Queensland North eastern Queensland from Townsville to Princess Charlotte Bay.
Northern Territory This area is the "Top End" of the Northern Territory extending from the border with Western Australia to the Queensland border.
Western Australia This is the Kimberley Region of Western Australia extending from Broome in the west to the Northern Territory border.
Geographical features can speed up and simplify the identification process but if an observer is not happy with the final determination it might be advisable to repeat the identification process without using geographical features and see if the end result is different. It is possible that you may have collected a species from outside its range of distribution as incorporated in this key.
