Shrubland along rocky watercourses near the Lett River, north of Hartley, Blue Mountains.
Shrub to 2 m high. Stems stellate-hairy (needs a hand lens or a macro app on your phone/tablet to see). Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating up the stems, 0.5–1.8 cm long, 3–10 mm wide, leathery, tips rounded or slightly notched, margins slightly curved down, upper surface shiny and hairless; lower surface stellate-hairy. Flowers yellow, with 5 petals each 6–7 mm long. Outer surface hairy with stellate hairs. Flowers single. Flowering spring.
Endangered NSW. Provisions of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 No 63 relating to the protection of protected plants generally also apply to plants that are a threatened species.
