Annual or short lived perennial herb to 0.25 m tall or sprawling to prostrate. Stems hairy, slightly sticky. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating along the stems, 0.5-2 cm long, 3–10 mm wide, hairy, sticky, margins entire, toothed, lobed, or wavy. Flowers female or bisexual, tiny (less than 3 mm in diameter) with 5 'petals' united towards the base, in small clusters. Seed cases whitish when mature.
Was Chenopodium pumilio.
