Mature fruits glabrescent, oblong to broadly spindle-shaped with a distinct beak of varying length, about 20-40 x 7-15 mm overall, including the beak. Seed about 13 x 3 mm, cotyledons convolute.

Distribution and Ecology
Endemic to Australia, widespread across northern Australia. Occurs in WA, NT, CYP and NEQ. Altitudinal range from near sea level to 600 m. Typically grows along creeks and watercourses through open forest country but also found in gallery forest.
