Stem

Living bark layer quite thin. Dead bark layered.

Leaves

Leaf blades about 2-3.3 x 1.2-2.2 cm. Petioles short, about 0.1 cm long. Oil dots numerous, closely spaced. Terminal buds clothed in pale prostrate hairs.

Flowers

Petals and calyx lobes pubescent adaxially. Petals about 4-5 mm long, oil dots difficult to distinguish, about 50 or more per petal.

Distribution and Ecology

Probably endemic to Queensland, occurs in CYP and NEQ. Altitudinal range from 400-600 m. Grows as an understory tree in well developed upland rain forest.
