Petioles erect, hairy, about 80-260 mm long.Leaf blades about 50-100 mm diam., underside clothed in hairs. Stipules +/- papery, encircling the stems, stipules about 4 x 5 mm. Veins 7-10, radiating from the base.

Distribution and Ecology
Occurs in NEQ and in south-eastern Queensland to southern New South Wales. Altitudinal range from 70-1125 m. Grows in rainforest or in rainforest margins also in notophyll vine forest on humusrich clay to clay-loam. Also in New Guinea.
