Stem

A slender vine not exceeding a stem diameter of 2 cm.

Leaves

Leaf blades about 6-7 x 5.5-7.5 cm, petioles about 2-3 cm long.

Flowers

Pedicels about 15-20 mm long. Sepals about 11-12 mm long. Corolla about 8-9 cm long, mainly pale pink, centre wine red.

Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in WA, NT, CYP, NEQ and CEQ. Altitudinal range in northern Australia not known, perhaps from near sea level to 150 m. Often grows in open forest but also found in vine thicket or monsoon forest.
