Pittosporaceae
Family Description

A family of nine genera and about 200 species in Africa, Asia, Malesia, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands; nine genera occur naturally in Australia.

Genera

Auranticarpa - A genus of six species endemic to Australia. Cayzer et al. (2000).

Bursaria - A genus of seven species endemic to Australia. Bennett (1978); Cayzer et al. (1999); Stanley & Ross (1983); White (1933).

Hymenosporum - A monotypic genus in New Guinea and Australia. Bakker and Steenis (1957); Stanley & Ross (1983); White & Francis (1924).

Pittosporum -A genus of about 100 species or more, 20 species occur naturally in Australia. Cayzer et al. (2000); Harden et al. (2014).
