Wiry shrublet 20-100 cm tall. Much branched. Leafy stems densely clothed in stellate hairs 1-1.5 mm diameter.
Leaf blades 15-60 x 7-40 mm, petioles about 3-20 mm long. Indumentum on abaxial surface dense to very dense with stellate hairs. Both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaf blade clothed in stellate hairs. Petioles 5-10 mm long. Stipules ovate and 2-3 mm long.
Inflorescence a cymule, 2-3 per node. Flowers3-5 per cymule. Peduncles 4-7 mm long; pedicels 1-3 mm long; bracts narrowly triangular, 1-3 mm long. Sepals linear, 5-10 x 1-2 mm, stellate hairy on the outside. Petals obovate, 2-8 x 1-3 mm; claw 1-1.5 mm long and tomentose. Annulus densely ciliate. Androgynophore 0.4-0.5 mm long. Stamens pilose near base. Ovary globose, ca. 1 mm long, setose. Style 3-8 mm long.
